A mix of B&W Travel / documentary / street / photographs spanning 20 years. As seen through the lens of Tony Edenden. Amusing, sad, occasionally, just plain odd!

"Unlike many of my peers I dont possess any formal photographic qualifications.
Going the self taught route, selling sports photographs to newspapers and magazines as an amateur photographer, then going full time pro in 1978 which continued until 1998, when I moved on to pursue other things.
Ive always shot what I call personal photos, both before, during and after my professional phase.
During the 1970s I developed an interest in the work of, Tony Ray-Jones, Gary Winogrand, Burk Uzzle, Chris Killip, Henri Cartier Bresson, Don McCullen and Elliot Erwitt. So its hardly suprising that I am still shooting a good deal of B&W!
Now, my pictures these days could hardly be called cutting edge or progressive! But that is fine, as I shoot to please myself, if other people warm to my work, thats a bonus!
Simple pictures (taken with a minimum of equipment and little digital enhancement) still reign supreme to my eye, of course my eye is the most important piece of equipment I possess!"
